Human needs hurt and hurt demands attention. People who are conscious of their hurting needs are prone to meditate about them throughout their day. Ultimately all their life starts to evolve around their unmet needs and they have fallen into the trap of self-centeredness without realizing it.
When you give too much attention to your unmet needs, you automatically magnify them. After a while they’ll seem so huge to you that it will seem impossible for you to ever have that requirement in your life satisfied.
There are more people out there waiting to hear your message, who can only hear it uniquely from you, than you can ever get to in your life time. Jeff Herring
What if you could significantly impact other lives with what you know? What if you were the only one who could contribute in that area to a given segment of the human population?
All of us have an area of expertise in which we excel more than others. It might even be so much a natural part of our life, that we hardly notice it. We all have a genius that is unique to each one of us. God made us that way.
The global economic situation has proven once again, that we cannot rely on what others will do with our money. It’s time to start getting an education that will allow us to manage it by ourselves. Maybe it is time to consider creating an additional stream of income apart of the monthly salary.
And there is no better place to start than by(more…)
Does it seem to you that the rest of the crowd knows exactly where they are heading except yourself?
Contrary to what you may be thinking, your position is a good place to be in. It is that same dissatisfaction that will drive you to do something about it.
It is often in these moments of deep frustration that new doors are opened.
You are probably on the threshold of an important turning point in your life. It’s time to search for the right answers.
Most recipes for success recommend us what to do without helping us deal with the biggest obstacle for success each one of us has: our mind-set. The problem is that the vast majority of people think wrong about themselves.
And it is that poor self-image that will always stand in their way to achieving success. That is why God has given us His unfailing success formula:
Number 1: To Be
Most people have a poor self image because they are totally ignorant about who they really are. God designed each human being for greatness. Yes, there is a genius in each one of us. He created us with a unique set of talents and gifts and designed a perfect plan for us to walk in.
Are you feeling stagnant in life? Are things just not happening as you hoped they would? Well, welcome to the crowd!
Everybody is struggling for growth and increase in life. But sometimes the challenges we face are like huge road blocks that keep us from reaching our desired destination.
Maybe it is time to question how you are handling your situation. You see, almost always the limits we see in our lives are in our mind, not in our circumstances. You might be trapped in a thinking pattern that has held you in bondage for years without realizing it.
Are you feeling lost? Does your life go in circles with no direction in particular? Do you yearn for having purpose in life?
Well, I have good news for you! God created you, gave you life and intricately designed your whole being with unique talents for a special assignment He has for you on earth. And, best of all, He didn’t just abandon you to figure it all out by yourself. He wants to teach you and help you on your way.
You might be thinking, “But how can I find out what His plan for my life looks like? How can I contact God so He can guide my steps?”(more…)
What is true success about anyway? The picture of a successful person the news media tries to sell us is that of a good looking young business man, or woman, who are enthusiastically waving their briefcase while they are off to work with a huge smile on their face.
In God’s eyes this is a very poor view compared to what He has in mind for us. The Bible says that “the blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow to it.”(Proverbs10:22)
God wants us to have a huge smile on our face while we are about to pull off yet another successful endeavor, and He wants to abundantly bless our finances too. But for Him it doesn’t stop there. He has greater plans for our lives.
After many years of reading about and analyzing different methods of education, I have to come to the conclusion that, if ever I would recommend somebody to develop his or her God-given talents and gifts, I’d have to stress the need of at least one good mentor.
In my personal development it has been priceless to have the privilege of knowing certain people and having them walk along my side for a season. What these people invested in me and my family determined who I am today.
They invited me to live their very life with them. They would give me the opportunity to get to know their way of thinking and handling different aspects of life. By sharing their experiences and mistakes with me they cut my learning curve by years.
Good mentors are vital for a successful living. Anybody who desires to step out and develop his or her talents through self-directed learning, needs to(more…)
Not enough self-esteem to succeed in life? Does this little voice saying, “You can’t do that!” appear every time you want to start on some new endeavor? Have you given up on trying to find a way to live successfully?
If you are like I was, you might be looking at some successful person you know and wondering what it would feel like to be in his or her shoes and experience success just once for yourself.
I’ll make two comments about these thoughts. They are powerful to change your life just like they have changed mine:
1.- Although the world around you may transmit the “law of the jungle” message that the strongest survive and the weaker barely make it, there is another way to live. You have to realize that (more…)
