Many people have incredible talents without ever realizing it. Most of these unknown experts enjoy their passion in the few hours of free time they have once they’re done with their regular job.

They cannot imagine that there are a lot of people who are struggling in that same area and and need to hear an expert’s message, –and would be willing to pay for it.

It’s not only possible, it was designed to be that way. You see, God has given you a unique combination of gifts and talents to walk in a perfect plan that He predetermined for you. If you never develop that talent and make it profitable, you are actually squandering what He put in your hands.

If you are working in a job you are not passionate about, maybe it is time you ask yourself if there are any other options. Maybe there is a way you could earn an extra income, –and maybe even become financially independent.

True, it won’t happen overnight and it will require a lot of work and patience, but if you don’t start it will never happen.

Now that we are in the Information Age, you literally have the world at the tips of your fingers. You can find excellent online resources that will help you achieve what many others have achieved already.

Something as simple as using what God put in your hand to bless others while earning enough to keep going at it so you can develop and reach your maximum potential.

“I never thought that would ever happen to me,” is what most people say who are being downsized in these difficult economic times. Others are fearfully watching as the number of their colleagues is dwindling around them at their jobs.

Another everyday phenomenon is that foreclosures are rampant and way too many people are losing their houses.

Is there a way of surviving these financial difficulties?

One good thing about crisis times is that they force us to step out of our comfort zone and search for new and better options.

Taking advantage of what is already in your hand is definitely one of them. Exploiting your expertise through self-directed learning is by far the easiest and most fulfilling alternative for creating an extra income or even for gaining financial freedom.

In the first place, God gave you that talent so you could exploit it and serve others with it. That means you have to develop it, further it and figure out how you can share it with others.

So, if you are troubled with your financial situation, don’t look around you for help. Search inside. God has already given you the means to be fruitful. He also has an awesome plan for your life,–and it is much more exciting than living from paycheck to paycheck.

Granted, it will mean hard work to develop your expertise and to monetize it. Like in everything else, there is a lot of learning involved. You don’t get a college degree overnight either.

But if you determine to exploit what you are already passionate about, you’ll not only have a lot of fun in the process, but you will also change what your life will look like in a few years to come.

In what might seem to be difficult economic times and an uncertain future ahead of us, there is one thing that will always guarantee provision, no matter what the circumstances are, and that is giving away from what you have.

Just like a farmer doesn’t consume all his seed, but sows part of it back into the ground for next years harvest, we should also be constantly passing on to others a portion of what we have obtained from our own harvest.

Not only money, but also from your time, and especially from the fruit of your talents. The best formula for constantly furthering your gifts and talents is by constantly blessing others with your expertise.

Although human reasoning will tell you, “The more you keep for yourself, the more you’ll have,” Jesus said that giving was more blessed than receiving. And He is smarter than we are.

There is something about giving that will always produce growth and increase on behalf of the giver. It’s not something that might happen, it’s not about luck or popularity either, but a law that works under any circumstance.

Give and it shall be given unto you. As long as you are willing to share with others what you have been blessed with, there will always be a flow of blessing coming from God through you to others.

It is when we are willing to be generous that God can trust us with more, because we have been good stewards over the little we had before that.

So, if you want to survive these difficult economic times successfully, start putting your hands in your pocket and share with others what God has given you with a thankful attitude. You’ll be sowing your seed for tomorrow’s harvest.

All of us have an area of expertise in which we excel more than others. It might even be so much a natural part of our life, that we hardly notice it. We all have a genius that is unique to each one of us. God made us that way.

Usually those strengths are more evident to the people around us. They habitually come to us for assistance when they need help in that given area.

Just think about it: you can, and should, monetize what has been placed in your hand. Otherwise you would never be able to develop it properly. You’d always be caught up with the necessity of earning a living in some other way.

God gave you that talent to contribute to humanity and it is perfectly alright for you to use it as a means for making a living.

The global economic situation has proven once again, that we cannot rely on what others will do with our money. It’s time to start getting an education that will allow us to manage it by ourselves. Maybe it is time to consider creating an additional stream of income apart of the monthly salary.

And there is no better place to start than by taking a daily block of time to learn through self-directed learning. It will allow you to learn at your own individual schedule, pace and time frame.

Self-directed learning practiced in a consistent manner will help you gradually achieve a daily increase in your knowledge in any given area of your choice and impact your financial future for years to come.

By implementing a block of one to two hours of study and research each day, you can become a successful real estate investor, a stock market trader or an internet marketer in a period of a year or two.

You could create residual income while still working on a full time job. And, who knows? As time goes by and you are consistent in increasing in knowledge and experience, you might even become financially free. It will take time and effort, but it is possible. Many have done it, why not you?
