Our tongue is one of the most evil devices ever created.
With it we can cause tremendous damage, not only to others, but to ourselves too.
You might ask, “Is what I say really such a great deal?
Yes, it makes a world of difference.
The Bible even states that life and death are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)
You see, we have to understand how this works. Day in and day out we are bombarded with bad news from the world around us. Even though we are not aware of it, this produces negative thinking in our minds.
These thoughts come to our mind automatically, we cannot help thinking them.
But we can choose to receive them or not. At this point we can still analyze the information and decide if we accept it or not.
Now, you cannot drive bad thoughts out of your brain by forcing yourself to think good thoughts. It won’t work.
And this is where the tongue comes in.
The only way you can either drive out bad thoughts or accept them is by using your tongue.
A person who is facing a challenging situation could start vocalizing his fears. In this case, he or she will be talking death. The battle is already lost even before it started, because the tongue has programmed this person for failure. He or she has chosen to accept those thoughts and gave birth to them the moment he or she confessed them with their tongue.
The good news is that, just as the tongue is powerful to kill and destroy, it is also powerful to edify and succeed. As a matter of fact, that is what it was designed for in the first place!
God, our Creator, gave us this powerful tool to set our faith in motion. Faith is believing without seeing. So, if you encounter a challenging situation in life, you talk God´s promises over that thing instead of confessing your fears and negative thoughts.
By doing this, you will have set this most powerful mechanism in motion and the outcome of your endeavors will be of victory, not defeat.
Oh, and remember…
“Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.”(Psalms 34:13)

One of the 10 bonuses you will get is my ebook on GRANTS (Godly Removal of Automatic Negative Thinking)
It has happened to all of us. We have a great idea or we get inspired to do something that requires boldness and faith to achieve. Excitement is on an all time high and our spirit is churned up to go forward and conquer.
And then we start reasoning. Our mind starts bombarding us with questions.
Can we possibly do that? What if this goes wrong? What will so and so say?
Suddenly our great idea isn’t that attractive anymore. The glorious path to achievement has filled with unexpected road blocks and our whole plan seems doomed for failure.
What happened? Were you wrong when you believed you could succeed in the first place?
No, it is only your mediocre mind that is blocking your spirit.
All of us are inherently creative and have unique God-given talents and gifts to accomplish great tasks. God has deposited a genius in every human being.
The problem is that our spirit is aware of that, but our mind is not. Every genius will sooner or later encounter a mind that has been educated to doubt and to fear.
If you would ask a classroom of 5 year olds how many of them believe they are artists, probably all of them would raise their hands enthusiastically. A few years later most of them will not.
Once again, the mediocre mind got in the way.
That is why the Bible adamantly encourages us to renew our minds constantly. We should see ourselves as God sees us, as creative beings made in His image. It is only then that our spirit will be free to reach above and beyond the limits our human reasoning is always trying to make us aware of.
Oh, and remember…
“Be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that you put on the new man which was created according to God…”(Ephesians 4:23,24)

who wants to help you see yourself the way God sees you!
PD I have dedicated a whole Chapter to the subject of renewing your mind in my new ebook “Know Your Destiny – How to Find Out God’s Plan and Purpose for Your Life.” You can check it out here.
Most people, with very few exceptions, think lowly of themselves. They have a hard time accepting that they are really capable of far more than they are achieving or have achieved in life.
This lack of vision and boldness is not to be confused with humbleness, a noble trait that is mentioned a lot in the Bible.
It is interestingthough, that we will not find the word “self esteem” in the Bible. It’s because self-esteem is all about “self” and the Bible is all about God.
When we can’t imagine ourselves fulfilling great tasks, we are really just focusing on the perception others have of us. It is when we desperately search for ways of promoting ourselves that we will miserably fail at finding our true worth.
That is what we call low self esteem.
By trying to find acknowledgement from others we can easily get trapped in the downward spiral of self exaltation, which ultimately will lead to the fall
True humbleness, on the other hand, is based on obedience to God and fully depends on Him, His empowerment and His provision.
David was humble when he killed Goliath, although his heroic act could have been interpreted as extremely arrogant. Nevertheless, His purpose was not to exalt himself, but to obey God and to glorify Him instead.
In the same way, it is when we take our eyes off our self and focus on God and on what we can do for Him on this planet, that our true potential will flourish and lead us to accomplish those great exploits we all know, deep inside, we are perfectly capable of.
All of us have a unique combination of gifts and talents, but not everybody is totally aware of them. Some people know exactly what their strengths are, but they don’t know how to use them.
Many young people have trouble identifying with who they are and what they were created for when it comes to making decisions about their future career.
The problem is that we cannot deny who we are. Sooner or later frustrations will start to surface if we are not using what we have in our hand. When they come to that point, people often react in three ways:
They deny it and choose to stay in their comfort zone. They are scared to make changes in their lives and prefer security above fulfillment.
Depression. Most mid-life crisis fall into this category. Somewhere around forty years of age many people awake to their true self and get depressed because of the wrong choices they have made.
Some people do the only right thing to do: They take action and start charting the course of their life in a different direction.
If you are ready to discover yourself in the light of what God has already put into you. I have good news for you!
Our talents and skills never stop existing. They are always there, ready to be discovered and exploited. They distinguish us from the rest of the crowd and give us that uniqueness God has designed every human being with.
Here are 6 questions you can ask to discover yourself:
What activity did you love doing as a child?
If you’d ever write a book, what would it be about?
In what area do you feel you can help people in?
What kind of dreams do you daydream about?
What do close friends and relatives say you are good at?
Search in your memories and try to remember a day or an event you truly felt fulfillment and happiness in.
This is an awesome poem I wanted to share with you today, please read it with your heart wide open!
“A Return to Love” by Marianne Williamson
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are we not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people the right to do the same. As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates others.”
If you are struggling with self-esteem, I’d love to help you!
Here are 5 steps you can take to boost your confidence level up high again:
Step # 1: Deal with your past once and for all. Confront those situations that bring painful memories and forgive the people that have hurt you, even if you don’t feel like it. Maybe they have stolen your past, but don’t let them steal your future too!
Step # 2: Change the way you think about failure. Society dictates that failures are bad, therefore most people are afraid of making failures and experience huge condemnation when they miss it. Next time you fail, see it as an opportunity to learn, as a stepping stone to success.
Step # 3: Learn to deal with rejection. In today’s busy world, it is quite common to get brushed off by somebody. We all experience some sort of rejection every day. Don’t take it personally. Be a nice person, but don’t expect anything in return.
The only sure fire way to achieve this is by having a close relationship with God. He’ll not only meet your need of being loved, but He’ll also teach you to love people as He loves them: unconditionally.
Step # 4: Further you education. Learn more and become an expert in whatever you are good at. Study and read a lot. Practice the habit of learning something new every day. As you increase in your potential, you will be able to give more value to others.
Step # 5: Learn about finances. Learn to be a good steward of money. Although you might think money is not important, the lack of it does have the power of filling you with fear and worry. Learn about biblical money management, because only the Lord makes rich without adding sorrow.

I want you to be refreshed today: You were fashioned for greatness! Don’t ever forget it!
Oh, and remember…
“You are God’s workmanship (piece of art) created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that
we should walk in them” (Ephesians, 2:10)

PS If you haven’t checked out my new book yet, you can find it here. It has a whole Chapter that deals with the issue of low self esteem and other limitations that turn us into less than what God has created us for.
Do you continually pray to get delivered from bad circumstances in your life?
Then you are probably trying to figure out how you can get out of your bad situation as soon as possible. You are desperately looking for a door to escape and to get rid of anything that has to do with it as soon as possible.
Although this is a human reaction to pressure and fear, it is not the wisest way to cope with our struggles.
We have to see our difficulties in a different light. As long as we try to run from them, they will probably be chasing us. On the contrary, if we turn around and face those challenges, they can turn into the biggest breakthroughs of our lives.
Humans very naturally pursue security, happiness and comfort. Most of them panic when problems arise and instinctively try to avoid them, hoping to somehow find their way back to that place of safety and protection they think life is about.
But life is not void of challenges and struggles. And often it is precisely these difficult areas of our lives that bring promotion and breakthroughs once we decide to confront them instead of denying or ignoring them.
The next time you feel like running away from a bad circumstance in your life, think before you turn on your heels.
You are not alone. You are not fighting your own fight. You have access to God’s supernatural intervention. But it won’t show up if you run away!
Escaping from it may bring a fleeting sense of relief, but that giant you are running from will probably show up in some other shape or form later on in your life.
Unless you turn around and face him, even if it is with shaking knees, but full of faith in the One who already won your victory!
Oh, and remember…
“Yet in all these things you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you” (Romans 8:37)
Don’t get intimidated by those giants, God is much bigger than your worst situation!
Success is not an entitlement. It doesn’t just fall into your lap. It requires determination and effort.
It means being willing to overcome character flaws, to challenge our current thought patterns and paradigms, and to have the boldness to explore new roads we have never taken before.
Sadly, many give up at some point of their struggle for success in their lives and settle for a lower level than God has intended for them.
One of the many reasons why people give up is because they ignore the power of having a great role model.
Mark Twain said, “Really great people make you feel that
