Breaking the Limits to Success: Discover How Fear Can Keep You Out of the Plan of God for Your Life

self-directed learning successMost of the time fear hovers in our subconscious mind and has the power of controlling our life. If not dealt with, it will always hold us in bondage and never allow us to walk in God’s plan for our lives.

Fear can show its ugly head in many different ways. There is fear of poverty, fear of criticism, fear of illness and old age, of losing a loved one and ultimately the fear of death.

The best way of getting a grip on fear is by understanding how it operates. Fear is a kind of faith, but it is a twisted faith. It has an evil origin.

We have to realize that there are two forces operating on earth: a good one and a bad one. The Bible speaks of two kingdoms, one is the kingdom of light and the other is the kingdom of darkness.

The kingdom of light operates by faith. The only way to access it and to receive from this kingdom is by faith. Jesus said, “Nothing is impossible to him who believes.”

On the other hand, the kingdom of darkness operates by fear. Fear operates just like faith does. Whenever it is released, it will bring evil to pass.

Whenever a person chooses not to believe in good and decides to consider the bad options, the kingdom of evil will manifest.

Now why do we fear instead of having faith?

Mainly out of ignorance. We have listened to the wrong voices and have filled our head with the wrong information. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6)

So, whenever they have to make any decision, they act out of fear and not out of faith.

The problem is that if you are governed by fear, you will never have the courage and the faith to step out and walk in what God has for you.

You might say, “But I don’t have a strong faith!” That is easy to solve! Romans 8:17 says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

It is when you feed yourself with the Word of God—the good information–that faith will rise up in your heart and you will be able to overcome those feelings of fear and firmly step out with the absolute conviction that nothing can stand between you and success.

self-directed learning motivate your childIt is almost an accepted fact nowadays by parents and teachers that children don’t like learning. They have come to the point of believing that this is a normal condition for a child to be in while he or she is in school.

Nothing could be further from the truth. While traditional methods have the goal of preparing young people for the job market, God designed education to be a life long, passionate pursuit of His plan for our lives.

This is evident in very young children. Little infants who have finally reached the crawling age will start to explore their surroundings with an astounding inquisitiveness. Then comes the age of asking why, when and where. There is so much to learn about life!

Nevertheless, once a child reaches school age, his or her curiosity gradually diminishes. Most children are burned out from too much artificial education by the time they reach 11-12 years of age. (more…)

True, we have the Word of God—the known will of God–that is a lamp to our feet and a light on our path. What would become of us without it?

Romans 8: 14 states that all the children of God are led by the Spirit of God. So it seems we must learn to perceive God’s guidance.
