Who would not want to be enlightened with godly wisdom when life choices have to be made? Would you like to hear from God when it comes to making all the important decisions in life?
God has distinctively designed every one of us for a life that He has already planned beforehand.
If we learn to listen to His voice we can make important life decisions according to His wise guidance, –and not according to our limited human ability to discern what is best for us.
A wrong decision in life will have consequences in the future. Somewhere along the way God’s plan will start tugging in our heart.
Most mid-life crisis happen because a person started climbing up the wrong ladder. Lack of fulfillment and the awareness of “there is more to life” are the result of not seeking God’s will when we make our choices.
And God’s plan for our life is always perfect and glorious! It is much more than we can even imagine. Only He knows exactly who we are, and only He desires for us to live a fulfilled and meaningful life more than we ourselves do.
Then why do so many believers fail to hear from God when they make their life choices?
It is always because of one of three reasons.
Reason #1: They are Not Submitted to God. If we want to walk according to God’s plan for our life, we have to submit to His program instead of insisting on our own agenda. The most important step is giving our life to Him by accepting Jesus as the Savior of our souls.
Reason #2: They Fail to Listen to God. In our busy world most people don’t find the time to tune into God’s voice. He is always talking to us, but we have to learn to slow down and listen to Him. That is why it is important to dedicate a certain time of the day to just fellowshipping with God and reading His Word, the Bible.
Reason #3: Disobedience. Many people know exactly what they should do, but choose not to listen. Sometimes it is true rebellion, but many times it is because we are expecting something more spectacular from God. He often nudges us into directions that don’t make sense to us at all, so we choose to listen to our human reasoning instead of His guidance.
The good thing is that, no matter what circumstances you are in or how much you have missed God, His perfect plan for your life is still waiting for you to walk in it! Would you like to hear from God, learn to know His voice, and make the right decisions in your life? For most people God is a distant Being that operates in a realm that is disclosed to mankind. Many don’t even think God is particularly interested in what is happening on planet Earth.
Nevertheless, nothing could be further from the truth. The Bible clearly states that God yearns to communicate with us and that He has made it possible for us to access Him whenever we so desire.
Then, how come so many people, even people who have been Christians for years, have trouble hearing from God?
Here are 3 reasons why many people miss hearing from God:
Reason #1: They have chosen to live a life according to their own agenda.
Although this point might seem obvious, it is the most common reason why people don’t experience a vibrant relationship with God. They feel God should be able to reach them somehow, but won’t do anything to draw closer toHim.
The most important step to living in contact with God is making Jesus the Lord of your life. Then you become a son or daughter of God and have every right to hear from Him just as any child can communicate with its father.
Reason #2: Lack of time. Just as in any other relationship, if you don’t invest time in your relationship with God, you will drift away from Him and you won’t be sensitive to His voice when He talks to you.
Reason #3: Condemnation.
If you have a bad conscience about something you have done, you won’t be able to access God with confidence. You will run from God instead of doing what you should: repent as soon as possible, receive God’s mercy and forgiveness, forgive yourself and keep on going. Don’t ever let your mistakes prevent you from hearing God’s voice.
Don’t ever let anything come between you and God!
When I wrote the book “Know Your Destiny – How to Find Out God’s Plan and Purpose for Your Life,” I was asked to take the Chapter about how to be led by the Spirit of God out. It was too controversial, because many Christians don’t believe what the Bible says about being led by the Holy Ghost.
I refused to take it out because I wanted you to know all the Truth. If there is one thing I desire in my life, it is that of helping others discover God’s plan for their life and learning how to be led by the Holy Spirit.

This is an awesome poem I wanted to share with you today, please read it with your heart wide open!
“A Return to Love” by Marianne Williamson
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are we not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people the right to do the same. As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates others.”
If you are struggling with self-esteem, I’d love to help you!
Here are 5 steps you can take to boost your confidence level up high again:
Step # 1: Deal with your past once and for all. Confront those situations that bring painful memories and forgive the people that have hurt you, even if you don’t feel like it. Maybe they have stolen your past, but don’t let them steal your future too!
Step # 2: Change the way you think about failure. Society dictates that failures are bad, therefore most people are afraid of making failures and experience huge condemnation when they miss it. Next time you fail, see it as an opportunity to learn, as a stepping stone to success.
Step # 3: Learn to deal with rejection. In today’s busy world, it is quite common to get brushed off by somebody. We all experience some sort of rejection every day. Don’t take it personally. Be a nice person, but don’t expect anything in return.
The only sure fire way to achieve this is by having a close relationship with God. He’ll not only meet your need of being loved, but He’ll also teach you to love people as He loves them: unconditionally.
Step # 4: Further you education. Learn more and become an expert in whatever you are good at. Study and read a lot. Practice the habit of learning something new every day. As you increase in your potential, you will be able to give more value to others.
Step # 5: Learn about finances. Learn to be a good steward of money. Although you might think money is not important, the lack of it does have the power of filling you with fear and worry. Learn about biblical money management, because only the Lord makes rich without adding sorrow.

I want you to be refreshed today: You were fashioned for greatness! Don’t ever forget it!
Oh, and remember…
“You are God’s workmanship (piece of art) created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that
we should walk in them” (Ephesians, 2:10)

PS If you haven’t checked out my new book yet, you can find it here. It has a whole Chapter that deals with the issue of low self esteem and other limitations that turn us into less than what God has created us for.
When you go on vacations, do you just leave your home one day and see how far you can go?
Probably not.
Most probably you’ll plan beforehand how many days you’ll leave, where you will go, what you have to take along and how much money you’ll need.
Strangely enough, while most people would find it absurd not to plan their vacations well, they hardly plan for a much more important journey, that of our short stay on this earth: our life.
Most people live from paycheck to paycheck. Their goal is trying to keep the bills paid and getting as much out of life as they can in the meanwhile.
Statistics show how poorly people prepare for the future. Of every 100 Americans over 65 years of age, 36 are dead, 54 depend on the government or on their relatives for support, 5 are still working because they have to, 4 are well off and only one is wealthy.
Only 5% have managed their finances well and more than 50% are dependent on others for support!
Something is wrong. The vast majority of people are not capable of maintaining their standard of living once they retire.
It also includes a bonus ebook “Healing Your Finances,” that will help you tackle the money problem by its roots: how to THINK correctly about money.
Back to our vacations. If you have ever planned a vacation, even if it was just a two day weekend camp by the lake, it wasn’t a difficult task, was it? You estimated your budget, planned the transportation and the food and then you sat back and enjoyed the experience.
Planning for your life should be just like that too. The problem is that most of us don’t have the adequate financial education to manage our money on the long term. Credit card debt levels show that most adults cannot even budget for a month!
That is why it is more important than ever to acquire financial literacy. We have to learn to exploit our God-given talents successfully, to manage our money well and to set financial goals that will ensure our standard of living once we retire.
