Home Business - Create Residual Income and Prepare Your Teens to have Their Own Businesses

There is one important subject no school curriculum teaches your teen: Financial literacy.
Yep! He’s getting a great education. If he studies hard and gets good grades, he’ll probably go to college and get a good job afterwards.
And if he keeps on working hard he’ll make a good living, right?
But he could substantially improve it if he had financial skills.
The truth is, we haven’t been trained to be financially literate in this country. We’ve been trained to be employees.
And unless we don’t offer something different to the next generation, they will receive the same education we got.
What’s wrong with that? Nothing really if your vision for you and your teen’s future is depending on social security once you retire.
But what if you could teach him (and yourself) how to create passive income? What if you could find a way to educate your teen the necessary skills to get financially free?
It’s really not beyond your reach.
You just need to take three steps:
• A vision for your teen’s life. This is where you dream. Every great accomplishment starts with a dream.Think of all the abilities God gave your teens and help them visualize their future exploiting those talents to accomplish their own dreams.
• Set long term and intermediate goals to aim for. A goal is a dream with a deadline. Here is where the rubber hits the road.
• Seek the necessary education they’ll need to take those steps. Keep in mind that developing the mindset to think like an entrepreneur and to successfully work independently requires a different type of education than most of us have gotten.
Take a look around you. Look for trustworthy sources that teach how to become a successful entrepreneur. Hint: Success leaves traces. Don’t follow somebody who is not living it.
If you want to get in touch with hand-picked mentors that have the vision of helping others, consider going to Rhea Perry’s Entrepeneur Days, a family business conference that will take place in Atlanta on the 15-17th of August 2008.
