Laziness and lack of motivation are common concerns we have with our beloved offspring. Most of us recur to controlling, imposing, and a variety of disciplinary formulas based on punishment and rewards.

Nevertheless, none of these methods reach the heart of the child. They can be used to force the child to comply, but they will never motivate him or her to learn with passion.

It doesn’t have to be that way. You were created to experience a constant increase in all areas of your life ’til the end of your days. And you were definitely not designed to live a roller coaster life of tricky victory followed by inevitable defeat.

Jesus invited all of us who are tired and weary to follow Him, and learn His ways, because His yoke is easy, and His burden is light!
